Yes, we both accept and embrace the opportunity to work with children with disabilities! Our staff are trained to be able to accommodate children with special needs.
Are your staff trained to accommodate children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities?
Yes, our staff is trained to accommodate children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities! Although not all of our staff hold a degree, they are continually educated on the latest topics and best practices in mental health.
What is multisensory childcare?
Multisensory childcare is childcare that helps children with brain injuries or developmental delays learn and relax by using their senses to make connections and grasp new concepts. Activities may involve sight, smell, sound, touch, taste, or any combination thereof!
Do you transport children?
Unfortunately, we do not transport children at this time. However, we hope to be able to provide transportation in the near future.
Is Galaxy Beyond Walls Childcare certified?
Yes, Galaxy Beyond Walls Childcare is certifed through Penn State Extension's Better Kid Care program, which provides online education for child care professionals throughout the commonwealth.
